Inspection Testing & Maintenance

At IDS, we help make sure that your system complies with the requirements of NFPA 72®-National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, National Fire Protection Association on an annual basis. This scope of work includes but is not limited to inspection and testing of each zone of your fire alarm system in order to ensure that it is functioning as intended and in accordance with the applicable standards of care.

To the extent that defects are noted, IDS will provide you with an action plan so that the NFPA 72 Inspection and Testing documentation can be finalized in order to be acceptable to the fire official in your jurisdiction. In addition, many insurance companies require that insureds maintain a functional fire alarm system as a condition precedent to insurance coverage in the event of a fire loss.
